Zhejiang midfielder Zhang suffers finger fracture

BEIJING, Sept. 15– Zhejiang FC midfielder Zhang Jiaqi picked up a finger fracture in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Shanghai Shenhua, the club said on Thursday. Zhang picked up the injury only two minutes into the game when he hurt his right index finger after being brought to the ground by an opponent’s tackle, the Zhejiang club said on social media on Thursday.

BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) — Zhejiang FC midfielder Zhang Jiaqi picked up a finger fracture in Sunday’s 1-1 draw against Shanghai Shenhua, the club said on Thursday.

Zhang picked up the injury only two minutes into the game when he hurt his right index finger after being brought to the ground by an opponent’s tackle, the Zhejiang club said on social media on Thursday.

He held on with the injury until the 86th minute when he was taken off.

Zhang played Wednesday’s game against Meizhou Hakka with his right hand bandaged.
