DAMASCUS — Two pro-government fighters were killed during an Islamic State (IS) attack on a military site in the desert region in eastern Syria overnight into Tuesday, pro-government Sham FM radio reported Wednesday.

ISLAMABAD — At least four people were killed and two others injured on Wednesday in a suicide attack at a security check post in Pakistan’s northwestern North Waziristan district, said an official.
