Soybean futures close lower

DALIAN, Aug. 17– No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Wednesday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange. The most active No.1 soybean contract for September 2022 delivery dipped 61 yuan to close at 6,090 yuan per tonne. China is the world’s largest soybean importer.

DALIAN, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) — No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Wednesday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active No.1 soybean contract for September 2022 delivery dipped 61 yuan (about 9 U.S. dollars) to close at 6,090 yuan per tonne.

On Wednesday, the total trading volume of six listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 128,768 lots, with a turnover of about 7.69 billion yuan.
