Soybean futures close lower

DALIAN, Aug. 19– No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Friday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange. The most active No.1 soybean contract for September 2022 delivery dipped 59 yuan to close at 6,047 yuan per tonne. China is the world’s largest soybean importer.

DALIAN, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Friday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active No.1 soybean contract for September 2022 delivery dipped 59 yuan (about 8.67 U.S. dollars) to close at 6,047 yuan per tonne.

On Friday, the total trading volume of five listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 123,748 lots, with a turnover of about 7.34 billion yuan.
