Soybean futures close lower

DALIAN, May 18– No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Wednesday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange. The most active No.1 soybean contract for July 2022 delivery dipped 10 yuan to close at 6,264 yuan per tonne. China is the world’s largest soybean importer.

DALIAN, May 18 (Xinhua) — No.1 soybean futures closed lower on Wednesday in daytime trading at the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active No.1 soybean contract for July 2022 delivery dipped 10 yuan (about 1.5 U.S. dollars) to close at 6,264 yuan per tonne.

On Wednesday, the total trading volume of six listed No.1 soybean futures contracts on the exchange was 89,591 lots, with a turnover of about 5.6 billion yuan.
