ISLAMABAD, April 28 (Xinhua) — Pakistan registered 94 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, the country’s ministry of health said on Thursday.

The overall tally of the infected people rose to 1,528,272 in the Asian country, according to data released by the ministry.

A total of 30,371 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded in Pakistan, with no more deaths over the last 24 hours, showed the latest data.

On Wednesday, 17,467 tests were conducted in Pakistan while the positivity ratio stood at 0.54 percent.

Currently there are 135 COVID-19 patients who are in critical condition in the country. Enditem
