ISLAMABAD, April 25 (Xinhua) — Pakistan recorded 100 new COVID-19 cases and no more deaths from the pandemic over the last 24 hours, the country’s ministry of health said on Monday.

According to the data released by the ministry, the country’s overall tally of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,527,956, including 1,494,141 recoveries.

There are 3,446 active cases in the country, including 187 patients who are in critical condition.

Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most affected region in terms of the number of cases, with 576,769 infections in total, followed by the eastern Punjab province which has reported 506,018 cases so far. Enditem
