MACAO, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) — Three expositions about automobiles, yachts and business aircraft opened Friday in China’s Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), presenting the public with a range of the latest products from home and abroad.

The three-day expo for automobiles, the 11th of its kind in Macao, is themed on helping the SAR build itself into a zero-carbon city. Covering an area of 65,000 square meters, the expo showcases nearly 400 vehicles of major domestic and overseas brands from over 20 countries and regions.

According to Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited, a co-organizer of the events, the Macao International Automobile Expo is of the largest scale in the Hong Kong and Macao SARs and an expo showcasing the most Chinese automobile brands outside the mainland.

In the meantime, a forum is held on the development of new energy and smart transportation, together with a cruise, miniature automobile racing for children and a “green” market on low-carbon life.

Over 40 yachts ranging from luxury to light fishing boats were exhibited. A forum was also held to discuss topics including traveling by yachts in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and stepping up exploitation of island resources.

The exhibition of business aircraft covers an area of 24,000 square meters at the Macao International Airport. It is accompanied by a forum as well as events inviting the participation of youth and interaction of visitors. Enditem
