Jordan to crack down on street sales of fuel derivatives

The kingdom’s Interior Ministry issued a strong warning Tuesday against the dangerous practice, emphasizing it would have a significant impact on public safety, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

In some parts of Jordan, fuel derivatives are being sold on the streets and sidewalks without undergoing necessary inspections, posing risks to vehicle engines.

Some derivatives have been adulterated with other substances to boost the profits of the sellers, according to the ministry.
