The deal on launching the platform was signed by European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi with Jordan’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Nasser Sharideh on the sidelines of the 14th EU-Jordan Association Council held in the Dead Sea area.

He emphasized the strategic relations between the EU and Jordan, while lauding Jordan’s role in maintaining regional stability.

Varhelyi added that the EU will also provide Jordan with 364 million euros in an assistance package until 2024. Enditem
