KUALA LUMPUR, June 29 (Xinhua) — Chinese shuttlers kept up their momentum on the second day of the Malaysia Open 2022 on Wednesday.

Men’s singles shuttler Lu Guangzu outplayed his Malaysian opponent NG Tze Yong 21-16, 21-23, 21-18 in a close first round match lasting nearly one and an half hours while Olympic gold medalist Chen Yufei beat compatriot Zhang Yiman to claim a 21-18, 21-8 victory in the women’s singles event.
