HONG KONG, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) — The Hong Kong Football Association (HKFA) announced on Friday that Hong Kong, China will face Myanmar on September 21 and 24 on home turf.

The first match will be held at the Mong Kok Stadium behind closed doors on September 21, and the second will be staged at the Hong Kong Stadium on September 24.

“We are excited for the friendly which is the first home match for us after our success at the Asian Cup qualifiers and the first since three years’ time,” said HKFA Chief Executive Officer Joaquin Tam.

“We deeply appreciate the HKSAR government’s coordination and assistance, so that fans can cheer for Hong Kong, China at the stadium. I look forward to an exciting match between the two teams,” Tam added. Enditem
