British stocks up 0.21 pct Tuesday

LONDON, June 29– British stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.21 percent, or 14.58 points, to close at 7,087.55 points. Johnson Matthey and EVRAZ increased by 2.52 percent and 2.14 percent, respectively. Rolls-Royce Holdings, a UK- based engineering company, fell 1.91 percent.

 Just Eat Takeaway, an online food order and delivery service, soared 3.88 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Johnson Matthey and EVRAZ increased by 2.52 percent and 2.14 percent, respectively.

 Polymetal International, a precious metals mining company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 3.25 percent.
