TUNIS, July 14 (Xinhua) — The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) has approved a grant of 60 million euros (about 71 million U.S. dollars) to Tunisia to support economic recovery and social inclusion.
The main objective of this program is to support the dynamic of economic recovery by improving the investment climate, preserving employment and promoting social inclusion by using new mechanisms to overcome the social challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19, according to a statement released by the AfDB.
Some 2.3 million people will benefit from this program especially those whose conditions have been affected by the repercussions of the pandemic, it said. Enditem
