President Cyril Ramaphosa was among provincial and local government leaders attending the mass funeral service of 21 young people in Scenery Park, East London. On Sunday, 26 June 2022, 21 teenagers tragically passed away at the Enyobeni tavern in Scenery Park, East London.The President was joined by Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane and provincial and local government leaders in comforting the families of the deceased youth. 2/13: South Africa – Eastern Cape – 7 July 2022. A day before Nelson Mandela Bay Day Zero comes, efforts are made to have water. The Eastern Cape metropolitan is facing a water crisis which has been made worse by a persistent drought that has affected major dams like the Kouga dam. 4/13: Brackenfel. 07072022. Matriculant Refiloe Nchupetsang, dressed in one of the garments at the Cape Gate store, gave the Princess Project the thumbs-up. Cape Gate Shopping Centre has partnered with the Princess Project and has collated a veritable treasure trove of public donations of stylish garments which will be donated to the Princess Project to assist young people who do not have the means to show up in style to their Grade 12 end of school celebrations.
