Writer-cum-entrepreneur Stewart Chibanda has written his sixth book A Call To Excellence.

Chibanda said the book seeks to encourage excellence at all levels and portrays how corruption and fraud hinder pathways to better living.

“This book connects thoughts to excellence. It also touches on topical issues on leadership. We are all leaders in one way or another as we wear different hats in society that come with responsibilities,” Chibanda said.

The writer, who debuted with Entrepreneurship in Africa—The Spiritual Dimension, described A Call To Excellence as a mirror out to fix and shape Africa through the spirit of excellence.

“It is not that excellence is missing in Africa but it’s found in small places here and there. We need excellence to be widespread and be everywhere in an individual, in a family, in a community, in a country and on our beloved continent,” Chibanda said.

The book, published by Triple Success Team, will be launched later this year.

Malawi Writers Union (Mawu) President Chikumbutso Ndaferankhande hailed Chibanda for the book.

“Chibanda, as an excellent writer, has explored pertinent issues from a unique point of view. He has challenged us that the spirit of excellence should be ingrained in all of us as individuals before we go out there and be excellent,” the Mawu leader said.

Chibanda’s other books are School Days are the Best Days in Life, Defeating Poverty and Entrepreneurs—Dry Bones Shall Live.
