It has been a long task of packaging the album, which he has described as powerful and features artists such as Limbani Simenti, Gwamba, Barry One, Sangie and Tarill.

“It’s an album that has taken me a lot of time and I have worked with various producers such as Sispence, Don Foxxy, Stitch Fray, Eddy Beats, Trappy and Desert Eagle. There are some artists that put some backing vocals in most of the songs and they include Sangie, Ritaa, Leslie and Stitch Fray,” he said yesterday.

The Blantyre-based artist, real name Evans Zangazanga, said Mtunda was all about being honest to oneself and accepting that you have to love yourself to love others.

“I am also encouraging people to be grateful for the little things they have because that is the only way they can appreciate life and give thanks to God,” he said.

Piksy’s music journey comes a long way and he is all but thankful to God for the talent.

“It has not been easy, a lot of ups and downs, things that would have stopped the dream but I thank God, family, my management and my fans for always believing in me and pushing me to get better and better,” he said.

He promised people the best full of surprises tonight and that this will be a stage with unique musical scripts.

“We have been undergoing massive rehearsals not to compromise on everything and I can say we are ready,” Piksy said.

He said three bands will be on stage tonight to back all the artists starring at the launch and they include Soldier Lucius Banda, Sangie, Kell Kay, Driemo, Eli Njuchi and Leslie.

“We also have other artists, who have not been mentioned on the menu, but they will be there to support us and others will join me on stage such as Limbani Simenti, who featured in one of the songs,” the ‘Unamata’ star said.

Apart from the 12 songs, Piksy said Mtunda has two bonus tracks ‘Chonchobe’ and Umakwana’.

Comesa Hall will be a busy venue this weekend as, after hosting Piksy tonight, it will then play host to a Soaked in Worship concert the following day featuring Apostle Enesia Chitheka Lewis, Lawi and Frank Chimpanzi.
