TNM Super League champions Nyasa Big Bullets face a tricky assignment against Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu Stadium this afternoon in their quest to narrow Blue Eagles’ lead.

Bullets drew 0-0 with Karonga United on Saturday.

Bullets are second on the table with 14 points, five below leaders Eagles, who have played seven matches, one ahead of the People’s Team.

Bullets Coach Kalitso Pasuwa admitted that they were in a difficult zone, having lost a match last season.

Pasuwa said his charges were recovering from a hard-fought goalless draw against Karonga on Saturday.

“We are looking at recovery, having played a game in Karonga, where we also had extra training. It was a game in which we missed so many chances,” he said.

Pasuwa said he was working on motivating youthful players to get set for the litmus test.

“We have tried to manage them. We need to take our chances. Most teams play well the moment they play against Bullets. We have been pumping sense into the youngsters that it is not easy to play for Bullets,” he said.

Striker Babatunde Adepoju and his partners Lanjesi Nkhoma and Hassan Kajoke are struggling in front of goal.
