BLANTYRE-(MaraviPost)-A 47-year-old man Lemosi Phiri in Kasungu is expected to spend 21 years of his life in jail for being found guilty of defiling three girls aged eight years in a row.

Phiri is said to have defiled the three girls in one after another on September 8, 2021 while they were playing close to his house.

In his testimony, State prosecutor, Assistant Superintendent Gladys J entala told court that the man gave each of the minors MK200 and defiled them.

The convict was arrested and consequently charged with three counts of defilement.

Kamanga however, acquitted Phiri on the second count.
