LILONGWE-(MaraviPost)-Malawi National Netball Team has flown to Pretoria, South Africa where they are expected to participate in a one week long 2023 Africa Zone World Cup qualifiers tournament.

Missing on the list is the Australian based shooter Mwai Kumwenda but almost all the players that took part in 2022 Commonwealth games at Birmingham City are part of the squad.

Grace Mwafulirwa, who is the Queens vice captain, has made a returt into the squad and has since replaced Shira Dimba.

Other long time serving members of the team including Blue Eagles Netball team star Takondwa Lwazi, former Manchester Thunder goal Shooter Joyce Mvula,Towera Vinkhumbo and Caroline Mtukule Ngwira are also in the squad.
