This is why Microsoft Africa Development Centre is organising training for media professionals and entrepreneurs to equip them with the skills and insights needed to thrive in the ever-evolving media landscape.

A statement from the organisation said this workshop, themed Navigating The Future of Journalism: Ethics, Entrepreneurship and Technology, will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The programmes, which will be held under the EnterpriseCEO Media Masterclass, will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape, foster entrepreneurial thinking, and empower them with practical skills to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

A wide range of topics related to media, journalism, entrepreneurship, and technology will be discussed by industry experts, experienced journalists, and media strategists.

The masterclass will offer a unique blend of theoretical knowledge, real-life case studies, and hands-on exercises to enhance learning and practical application.

Participants would be allowed to use the Microsoft Garage to unleash their creativity and work on media-related projects. Microsoft Garage encourages a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and innovation within the company.
