ANAPIX:Week in Pictures

South Africa – Cape Town – 13 September 2022 – Minister Anton Bredell visited Stony Point Nature Reserve, outside Bettys Bay, on Tuesday the 13th of September. The visit highlighted the important contribution CapeNature makes to eco-tourism in the Western Cape as part of its conservation mandate. Minister Bredell also highlighted Access Week, from the 20th to the 27th of September, when CapeNatures reserves can be visited free of charge. September also marks Heritage Month in South Africa and Stony Point is situated on the site of the historic Waaygat Whaling Station. Today it is home to a colony of the endangered African penguin.
