1/15: South Africa Johannesburg AKA presser 14 February 2023. For the first time since AKAs killing at the weekend his father Tony Forbes today spoke at a press brief in Bryanston. He thanked South Africa for their support and a special thanks to SAPS Durban and AKAs Durban based friends for the help they gave. 7/15: South Africa – Cape Town – 16 – February – 2023- The official opening ceremony of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament (WCPP) took place at the Western Cape Provincial Parliament Building, 7 Wale Street, Cape Town this morning. Premier Alan Winde delivered his 2023 State of the Province Address (SOPA) during the sitting in the Chamber. In his State of the Province Address, Premier Winde, outlined the governments policy and direction for the year ahead and also identified specific goals and targets. 8/15: South Africa- Cape Town – 15- February 2023- Daiyaan Frances grade 3 learner from Alpine Primary School. Mitchell’s Plain Primary Schools playing at the KFC Mini-Cricket Festival in Mitchell’s plain Stephen Regan Oval. The KFC Mini-Cricket programme is the largest national grassroots development programme in South Africa.KFC has managed to offer kids with the critical building blocks to learn cricketing basics and entrenching important life lessons. 9/15: South Africa- Cape Town – 15- February 2023- Whale spotted during the city boat tour.The Citys mayoral advisory committee on water quality and wetlands on a boat tour of its coastal marine outfall in Green Point to refute claims by researchers, Action SA, and civil society groups that the sewage disposed of at its marine outfalls has not been properly screened and that it is misleading the public. 11/15: South Africa – Cape Town – 15 February 2023 – The Cape Town Carnival, the annual free-to-watch spectacular to be held on 18th of March 2023, gave a bird’s eye view of what to expect, at a press and influencer tour this morning of their workshop in Maitland. The media were treated by being driven to the warehouse in a red City Sightseeing open-top, double-decker bus. The Cape Town Carnival returns and is looking forward to celebrating and sharing our nation’s colourful cultures with the theme “Afr’energy” with friends and family in our beautiful city streets. 12/15: GrandWest. 12.02.23. Colin ‘Bones’ Delight (far right), the first lead singer of The Rockets, with current members of the iconic Cape Town band held their last performance at GrandWest.
