Extinction Rebellion staged a protest at the Port of Cape Town against the planned arrival of the Kremlin’s Antarctic seismic survey vessel, the Akademik Alexander Karpinsky that is planned to dock in the harbour. Despite a mining ban, the Russian ship has built oil and gas maps of the endangered marine sanctuary and the Southern Ocean. Ferlon Christians, Western Cape leader of the ACDP said You dont want your daughter offered prostitution as a career choice. The ACDP believe that families are the fabric of society and decriminalisation of prostitution would harm families. 22/22: South Africa – Cape Town – 22 January 2023 – Standalone – The silhouette of Laura Noble standing in the Woodstock Cave overlooking the City of Cape Town. As the name suggests, this hike takes you to a large cave with an epic view of Woodstock and the surrounding area. The cave is one of the largest on Table Mountain.
