Cape Town, June 23 (ANA) Western Cape Education Department (WCED) head Brent Walters and Education MEC Debbie Schäfer were joined by union representatives, principal association members, teachers and public service staff for the official launch of the roll-out, at Metro Medical Services in Pinelands, Ndabeni.

1/3: South Africa – Cape Town – 23 June 2021 – Today, the Head of Education in the Province, Brent Walters and MEC for Education, Debbie Schäfer joined union representatives, principal association members, teachers and public service staff to launch the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine to the education sector. Initially, the launch was to take place on Friday, 23 June 2021, however, the Provincial Department of Health have informed us that they are ready to administer vaccines from Wednesday afternoon at Metro Emergency Medical Services in Pinelands.
