ANAPIX: Covid tourism

The UK has officially removed South Africa from its red list of countries, effective from Monday 11 October. That means fully vaccinated South Africans can enter the country without mandatory quarantine. Western Cape Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities David Maynier welcomed the move, stating that it will provide much needed relief to the tourism and hospitality sector in the Western Cape. “The decision couldn’t have come at a better time, allowing long separated friends and families to reunite and the many tourists who regularly visit the Western Cape to enjoy our affordable and unique attractions over the summer season.
