A Brazilian man who bears a striking similarity to American superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is causing a stir in Rio De Janeiro after capitalizing on his looks.
Lucas Zanoni from Brazil began impersonating The Rock after noticing that people frequently mistook him for the Hollywood star. He has been doing this since 2015.
Zanoni began styling his hair and beard in the manner of The Rock. He even got tattoos similar to those on The Rock’s body.

Unsurprisingly, many people have been duped into believing that Zanoni is the former WWE wrestler, and this is despite the fact that the Brazilian strictly speaks Portuguese.
The Rock from Brazil recently went viral after he shared a video of a group of starstruck female tourists swooning and going a little crazy after running into him at Rio’s Copacabana Beach.

In the viral video, the Caucasian women surround the Brazilian male and shout into the camera while appearing to be having a great time.
“We love him, we love The Rock.”
One of the women even nibbles at the nipple of The Rock’s Brazilian wannabe.
On social media, the video, which was published on TikTok on September 28th, has already received close to 6 million views in just 48 hours.
However, some eagle-eyed social media users were not convinced and quickly pointed out that the man in the video was not The Rock, despite the resemblance.
Zanoni frequently uses the hashtags #therockbrasileiro and #sosiatherock, which translate to “The Rock Double” or “look-alike.”
He even calls himself “the official look-alike of Hollywood celebrity [and] actor ‘The Rock’” in his biography.
Zanoni’s story is similar to that of Eric Finch, who has cashed in on his resemblance to Snoop Dogg.
Finch is a professional look-alike, in part due to his uncanny resemblance to rapper Snoop Dogg.
He has been portraying Snoop Dogg at parties and on television for years now.
While Finch admitted the look-alike gig can sometimes get tedious when he’s just living his life, he wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
Finch loves to perform, saying the best part of his unusual gig is meeting new people and making people happy.
“I’ll take whatever comes,” he told Culture Trip in 2019. “It’s not about the fame and the fortune. It’s about something I enjoy doing. It’s breathtaking to me. There are no words that can even describe what it feels like to be an entertainer.”
