Two Grade 1 Pupils Murdered, Bodies Dumped In Disused Toilet Pit
On a sad development, two Grade 1 pupils from Mbaza Primary School in Nyanga were allegedly killed on their way from school on Tuesday.
Their bodies were dumped in a disused toilet pit about 2km from the school.
The bodies of Melisa (7) and Dilan (7) both from Benza family under Chief Mutasa were recovered yesterday morning.
The bodies had deep cuts on the necks and their uniforms were blood-stained but all their body parts were intact.
The Herald reports that national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.
He also said the bodies were retrieved from the pit and deep cuts were observed on the necks.
All other body parts were intact but with blood stained uniforms.
The bodies were ferried to Nyanga Hospital awaiting post mortem.
The two minors had been missing since Tuesday when they left home for school and villagers began searching for them when they did not return home.
In other news, iHarare had reported that three teachers and a traditional healer from Chipinge were allegedly slapped with a lawsuit by one of the former teachers at Chimana Secondary School over satanism allegations.
Precious Mundende is suing three of her former workmates and a traditional leader for $300 000 in defamation charges after they allegedly accused her of being involved in Satanism. Mundende is also accusing them of reporting her to her superiors that she is a witch.
