Thoughts and prayers flooded veteran comedian Trevor Gumbi after he took to social media and revealed that his wife has been hospitalized.

The celebrated comedian took to his official Instagram account and penned a touching note to his wife Nande whom he revealed is on the road to recovery.

Although he did not disclose the nature of her ailment, Trevor Gumbi said he wished he could take away his wife’s pain.

“I wish I could take the pain away. If you can make it through the night, there’s a brighter day. Everything will be all right if you hold on,” Trevor Gumbi wrote.

On Tuesday, Trevor Gumbi penned a hilarious message on his timeline saying:

In an update on Wednesday, he revealed that his wife will be discharged from the hospital on Thursday.

“There’s good and bad news. The bad: Moonshine is only getting discharged tomorrow. The good: her nail technician should charge 20% less,” he wrote.
