Rami Chuene is in Ghana for the Global Citizen Festival: Accra. The festival held on Saturday 24 September, was hosted by Black Panther actress Danai Gurira and featured live performances from Usher, SZA, Stormzy, Gyakie, Sarkodie, Stonnebwoy, Uncle Waffles and TEMS.
Presenters included Berla Mundi, Joselyn Dumas, Michaela Coel, Nomzamo Mbatha and Sabrina Dhowre Elba. Global Citizen Festival: Accra was one of two events with the other being hosted in New York City’s Central Park.
The multi-talented Rami Chuene has starred in productions including Isono, How to Ruin Christmas and Strike Back. Apart from being a critically acclaimed actress, Chuene is also a television and radio presenter. Last year she hosted a Mzansi Magic reality show titled Away For Repair, following couples and ordinary people who were taking time away to mend broken bonds.
After her exit from The Queen, the versatile actress was announced by Thobela FM as a presenter for a show titled Jazz Ye Phelago in March 2018.
