South African songstress Msaki has left Mzansi worried after she posted a cryptic message on Twitter, bidding farewell to her fans.
On Tuesday, 17 January, in the evening, Msaki, real name Asanda Lusaseni Mvana, bid her followers farewell and left them confused if she was quitting music or quitting life altogether. She added that she had learnt a painful lesson without disclosing what it was.
Msaki tweeted:
“Thank you. Thank you for everything. It’s all been a lesson. A painful one but a lesson. Nothing is really bad. It’s just painful, but I’m learning to breathe through the pain in real-time. So thank you. That’s all. Thank you for being part of the lesson. I’m ok. I’m Just saying goodbye I’m out for real this time x.”
Despite the concern from her fans, Msaki did not divulge what had caused her so much pain or what she meant by saying goodbye.

This is not the first time Msaki has posted a message of this nature. In November 2022, she said she was taking some time out because she was being treated like a celebrity when she did not consider herself one.
On 6 January 2023, she then said:
“I’ll do my final gig guide and share. I have a theatre run coming up end Feb March. These are my last days, fam. I’ll explain soon .”
Daily Sun reached out to Msaki’s manager, Thobi Shange, who refused to entertain questions about her cryptic tweet.
