Speaking to Zimoja following Idols SA cancellation, Thembi Seete cherished her time on the show. She said that she had the best time of her life on Idols SA.

The Kings of Joburg actress, who made her debut on the music talent show last year, revealed that season 18 was the highlight of her life and stated that she would not trade her experience on Idols SA for anything else.

Thembi Seete went on to thank her fans for supporting her and for watching the talent show.

“Everything on the show was a surprise. To sum it up, this was the best time of my life. I have never been challenged like this ever in my career. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. Thank you, guys, for your support, and thank you for watching. Season 18 was the highlight of my life – 2022 I will never forget you.”

Resident judge Somizi Mhlongo also reflected on his time on Idols SA. He concurred with Thembi Seete, saying that season 18 was the best season ever as compared to the other seasons. Somizi who is well-known for his daring outfits added that he enjoyed the make-up, hairstyles and wardrobe change.

“To be quite honest, Season 18 has been the best season I’ve ever done, talent-wise. I had fun. With me, the outfit changes, hairstyles, make-up and glam were on another level. But the talent was on another level. Thank God and it’s because of you, guys.”
