Prominent South African singer and serial hitmaker King Monada seems to have suffered a tragic loss after his house allegedly caught fire.
The Limpopo-born musician shared two pictures on his social media accounts, one showing his beautiful and majestic mansion and another one showing a part of it that was charred by the flames.
He captioned the post with a crying and heartbreak emoji, indicating his sadness and pain.

King Monada’s house is in his hometown in Ga-Mokgoloboto Village, in Tzaneen, Mopani district municipality, Limpopo, where he is perceived as a living legend.
He built his house in this village because it’s where he is from, and he wanted his children to live there. The house is near his parents’ home, allowing his family’s bond to grow.
The mansion is a double-storied building with about six bedrooms, spacious closets, spotless bathrooms, grand staircases, high chandeliers, white marble tiles, and large one-way glass windows and doors.
The house’s exterior is painted in tasteful dark and light shades of grey to go with the grey-tiled roof. The home also has a spacious garage accommodating his luxurious car fleet.
King Monada is a proud polygamist with two wives, Lerato Ramawela and Cynthia Ntebatse Lion, and their children. It is reported that he constructed his giant mansion to have enough room for both his wives and kids.
He reportedly spent about R1.5 million to R3 million on the posh mansion. King Monada officially opened his house in March 2023 and invited some of his celebrity friends and his peeps from his neighbourhood when he threw a lit housewarming party.
However, less than a year later, his dream home has been partially destroyed by fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and no injuries have been reported.
Fans have expressed their support for King Monada on social media, wishing him strength and courage to overcome this setback.
