English Premier League (EPL) club Bournemouth is reportedly up for sale.

This development comes after the club recently sacked its coach Scott Parker.

The 77-year-old American billionaire who owns National Hockey League side Vegas Golden Knights is said to be ready to take a 100 percent stake of the club and the deal is expected to be done and dusted before the World Cup.

Last month, Bournemouth parted ways with coach Scott Parker following his humiliating defeat by Liverpool.

The Reds ruthlessly put Scott Parker’s side to the sword netting 9-0 and this resulted in Parker being sacked after taking charge of only four games.

Parker was however replaced by Gary O’Neil assisted by Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick.

“I would like to place on record my gratitude to Scott and his team for their efforts during their time with us. Our promotion back to the Premier League last season under his tenure will always be remembered as one of the most successful seasons in our history.

“However, in order for us to keep progressing as a team and a club as a whole, it is unconditional that we are aligned in our strategy to run the club sustainably. We must also show belief in and respect for one another.

“That is the approach that has brought this club so much success in recent history, and one that we will not veer from now. Our search for a new head coach will begin immediately,” wrote Bournemouth co-owner Maxim Demin.

Now it remains to be seen whether Bill Foley could keep the interim coaching department or sack it if the takeover deal succeeds.
