Mzansi’s rapper Cassper Nyovest has replied to late legendary actor Patrick Shai’s passing.
The River actor allegedly committed suicide in his garage at his home in Soweto, Dobsonville today.
Mzansi has patiently been waiting for Cassper Nyovest’s response to actor Patrick Shai’s death since their last interaction this past week.
The Tswana rapper Cassper Nyovest tweeted in his language: “Gwitsi modimo” which means ‘Only God knows’.
Patrick Shai challenged Cassper to a boxing match last week in a viral video where he insulted the rapper and his mother and later apologised for his public rant.
Cassper took to Twitter last week and said he was puzzled by the actor’s attack and wondered why he was involving his family in his beef.
“This is way too much man. I can’t take it. Why are people always disrespecting my family? I’m fucking trapped in this fame shit.
“I wish I could run up on all you devils and defend my family as any other man would. What is coming to all of yall will be ugly! GOD KNOWS!”
“Who the fuck is that old man and why is he calling my mom a bih? Why does my family have to be disrespected like this yo? F*ck this is too much now!!! Modimo nna ha ke sa kgona, ke kopa thuso. (God I can’t do this anymore, I need help.)”
Patrick Shai trended most of last week when he went all-in on the award-winning musician, while seated inside a car.
“This is Mr Patrick Shai. I want to meet you in the wrestling ring. I want to bleksem you before I die. I want to make sure that I’ve beaten you up so that on my tombstone, it is written that I am the man who beat Caster or Coster or whatever your sh*t name is… Give me that respect. Come, you son of a bitch.”
