Media personality Bonang Matheba has taken to her Twitter account to announce that she has won a lawsuit against controversial podcaster Rea Gopane.

According to Bonang, Rea has been ordered to pay her a whopping R300 000 for damaging her brand.

It all started last year after Rea claimed that Bonang had introduced her ex-boyfriend AKA to cocaine. He further claimed to have gotten this information from radio and TV personality Siyabonga ‘Scoop Makhathini’ Ngwekazi.

Bonang then decided to go the legal way and she slapped him with a R500k lawsuit following the startling claims. Bonang’s letter of demand summoned Rea to post a public apology and pay R500k for damaging her brand.

Rea posted an apology and retraction on his social media accounts following the demand, however, Rea continued to press Bonang’s buttons.

Bonang’s fans have congratulated her on winning the case writing;
