Kwaito musician Arthur Mafokate has become the butt of jokes on social media after Terry Pheto’s lavish house in Bryanston Johannesburg was put on auction.

Tsotsi actress Terry Pheto, The River actor Presley Chweneyagae and Arthur Mafokate are embroiled in the lottery fraud scandal.

Arthur Mafokate was implicated in the misappropriation of R56m in community development funds from the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).

Today, it emerged that Terry Pheto’s luxury house, which was built with funds linked to siphoning of the National Lottery Commission (NLC) grant funding, was put on auction.

After the news broke out, tweeps started tagging Arthur Mafokate as they posted funny videos and memes pointing out that is how he is going to react when he hears that Terry Pheto’s house has been put on auction.

Tweeps argued that Arthur Mafokate should be next in line to be investigated by the Special Investigations Unit (SIU).

This is not the first time Arthur Mafokate has been trolled on social media over the lottery scandal. Early this year, his attempt to defend himself after he was accused of lottery fraud backfired.

Mafokate sat down with journalist Danny Mdluli to “set the record straight.” The interview aired on Arthur Mafokate’s YouTube channel.

The interview was a public relations attempt to portray him as innocent of the lottery funds fraud he is accused of.

However, social media users felt this was a poor attempt as the interviewer was very soft on him, and Arthur refused to answer important questions.

He attempted to cry live on air, but sadly, tears refused to roll down from his eyes no matter how hard he tried. Tweeps roasted him for shedding crocodile tears and made a mockery of him using memes from his interview.
