The police in Lagos State have arrested one Issa Majafara for allegedly being in possession of a pair of police uniform.
The command’s spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this on Thursday, saying that the suspect, who was of no fixed address, was arrested on Tuesday by a team of surveillance patrol on Iyana-Iba Market Road in the Ojo area of Lagos.
He said that, “During interrogation, the suspect claimed he picked the uniform from the dustbin. The case is under investigation.”
The spokesman warned members of the public to be careful of criminals wearing police and other security uniforms.
