TEHRAN, May 17 (Xinhua) — The 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition opened on Wednesday in Iran’s capital Tehran, the Shana News Agency affiliated to the Iranian Oil Ministry reported.

Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, Oil Minister Javad Owji and Science, Research and Technology Minister Mohammad-Ali Zolfigol as well as Syrian Oil Minister Firas Hassan Kaddour attended the opening ceremony, the report said.

Major Iranian oil industry companies and associations and a number of knowledge-based firms, technology parks and startups participated in the exhibition, which is also known as Iran Oil Show 2023, it added.

A total of 200 foreign companies from 13 countries, including Russia, China and Türkiye, also participated in the exhibition, according to the report.

Iran Oil Show 2023 will run until Saturday. Enditem
